You will work in a high-volume office, processing changes for over 8,000 employees. Under the general direction of the Payroll Manager, will support the processing of multiple payrolls for the health system. The Payroll Tax Accountant is responsible for the timely processing and auditing necessary to produce an accurate payroll. In addition, the Payroll Tax Accountant provides positive customer services in responding to payroll/payment issues.

- Knowledge and experience with processing payroll in-house system for over 8,000 employees
- Ability to meet deadline, prioritize work and be flexible with changing priorities

- Strong interpersonal skills
Required Experience
Required:
- Bachelors’ degree
- Minimum 2 years’ payroll tax experience
- Understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Must be analytical and detail oriented.
Preferred:
- Oracle experience a plus
- Healthcare/hospital payroll experience
- Master Tax experience a plus but not required.
- In-house payroll processing in a multi-state, multi-company environment
