The Audiologist will provide cochlear implant evaluations, assessments, and programming/rehabilitation for new implant candidates and previous recipients. The Audiologist will counsel patients and their family members regarding test results and will review options that best meet their hearing care needs. In addition, the Audiologist will administer diagnostic tests for patients outside of the cochlear implant program.

- Able to administer and interpret the full range of audiological tests from comprehensive audiometric evaluation, immittance measures, otoacoustic measures, electrophysiological measures for differentiation of conductive, cochlear, neural hearing loss, and pseudohypoacusis.
- Ability to provide audiologic treatment including hearing aid and cochlear implant candidacy determination; fitting, verifying and validating amplification systems; patient and family counseling, and communication with other care-providers for patients.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, follow-through and the ability to multitask at a high level.
Required Experience
- Master’s Degree in Audiology or Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.)
- California State licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or eligibility.
- Holds a California Dispensing Audiology license and NPI number
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience of Hearing Aid and/or Cochlear Implant programming experience
