Department Assistant, Nursing Staff Office, Per Diem, Days 8hrs

Responsible for entering patient care units' nursing schedules into the computer system.  Obtains daily staffing information form the patient care units.  Coordinates staffing on a projected and shift by shift basis.  Assigns staff to cover vacation and sick time.  Assigns staff from the float pool.  Performs minor secretarial duties.
