Apply Now Hospital Name PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital Location Whittier, California Job Type Full-Time/Regular Job ID 24271-977The Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator has the responsibility for the coordination of data collection for the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) which includes Minimum Data Set (MDS) by all appropriate healthcare disciplines and the timely transmission of the MDS to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). Works with Vice President, Post-Acute Care Services, Clinical Director of the Transitional Care Unit (TCU, and staff to improve the quality of care, strengthen the financial performance, and improve patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. This is an exempt position.

Required Experience
Required:
- Current California RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Two years’ clinical experience in an acute care or post-acute care facility
Preferred:
- Prior experience in an acute care facility
- Prior experience in long-term care setting
- Knowledge of Title XXII, OBRA, MDS, and Medicare regulations
- Prior MDS experience
- BSN or currently enrolled in BSN program
